Workshops are a key part of the Collie Creates experience, offering the community a chance to come together, learn, and be inspired. Throughout the festival, a wide range of creative sessions take place — guided by local and visiting artists who are passionate about sharing their skills and ideas.
Whether it’s something hands-on, expressive, or just plain fun, our workshops add colour and connection to the festival atmosphere.

Art With glass
Join local Artisan Maurice Moore for a 2 day workshop to create your very own glass art.
Where: Forest St; next to Collie Artist Den
When: 4 workshop dates available
Time: 9am- 3pm over both days
Price: $380 per person (2 days)
Note: This is an 18+ workshop but juniors are welcome with a paying parent/guardian
Maurice Moore is an ex safety professional/miner who has had a long time love of stained glass. He is a local artisan who creates one off bespoke pieces, revives old damaged/broken items through to large commissioned pieces like windows, doors in the traditional way. His workshop is next to Collie Artists Den and this is where he will be running his 2 day stained glass workshops. Each participant will get a kit of their choice and use Maurices tools and consumables to create their very own masterpiece. Drop in or call Collie Artists Den for more details.
Learn the art of creating a picture-perfect grazing box in this delicious hands-on masterclass. Guided by the team from Tailored Grazing, participants will discover tips and tricks for arranging, styling, and balancing flavours while designing their own grazing box.
Everything is supplied, and at the end of the workshop you’ll take home your beautifully curated box (serves 2–4) – ready to share or enjoy yourself!
